Add all ingredients except for the shrimp to a large bowl and mix until combined. Then add the shrimp and coat it in the sauce.
Marinate for 20 minutes.
Thread 3-4 shrimp on each bamboo skewer (optional).
To Cook on Grill
Preheat grill to 400 degrees.
Oil the grill lightly, and then put the skewers (or just the shrimp if large enough) onto the grill.
Cook the shrimp for about 3 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
To Cook in the Oven:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Lay the skewers in a single layer on the sheet pans, or just spread the shrimp in a single layer.
Bake for 7-9 minutes until fully cooked.
