  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¾ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup safflower oil
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 12-cup muffin tin with muffin liners.
  • In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the milk, Greek yogurt, oil, eggs vanilla and almond extracts and gently mix just until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, just until they're distributed evenly throughout.
  • Portion the batter into the 12 muffin cups evenly and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 17-19 minutes, or until the muffins are cooked through.
  • Allow the muffins cool on a rack for 10 minutes before serving.
