Easiest Ooey Gooey Strawberry Mug Cake
You are going to love this ooey, gooey delicious mug cake. This recipe is perfect for all those strawberries that are in season….and it even works well to utilize the ones that are on their way out!   • 5 tbsp oat flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • 4 strawberries, quartered


  • In a large microwave-safe mug (350 mL capacity or larger), stir together oat flour, baking powder, sugar and brown sugar until combined. Add milk, butter and lemon juice and stir until well combined.
  • Fold in the strawberries.
  • Microwave for 90 seconds or until the cake has risen well. Microwave in further 10 second bursts if needed but be very careful not to overcook! Eat immediately.
  • **TIP- put a small plate under your mug when you microwave in case it bubbles over! If your mug is too small it will!
