Bang Bang Cauliflower Lettuce Wraps

This recipe for Bang Bang Cauliflower Lettuce Wraps features crispy roasted cauliflower coated in bang bang sauce, and the best part is you can have dinner on the table in under 40 minutes! I love cauliflower because it is such a neutral vegetable that can be transformed into pretty much anything you want. This recipes does not require any breading or coating of the cauliflower, which saves tons of time. I used my air fryer for this, but you can absolutely use the oven.

For the Cauliflower:

  • 2 heads cauliflower, cut into florets
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¾ tsp salt

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

For the Lettuce Wraps:

  • 1 head Butter Lettuce
  • 1 mini cucumber thinly sliced in rounds
  • pickled red onions for garnish
  • chopped chives for garnish


  • Preheat oven or air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil and salt.
  • Place on air fryer basket (you’ll need o do two batches), or on a parchment lined sheet pan.
  • Roast for 20 minutes, or until the edges of the cauliflower turn golden brown.
  • While the cauliflower is roasting, make the sauce. In a bowl, whisk together the mayo, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar.
  • When the cauliflower is done, take half of the sauce out of the bowl and set it aside. Add the cauliflower to the remaining sauce and toss it gently until the pieces are coated.
  • Assemble your lettuce wraps by placing coated cauliflower on top of a lettuce leaf. Garnish with cucumbers, pickled red onions, and chives. Drizzle with extra sauce if you like, because it’s BANGIN’.
