Banana Bread Mug Cake
This recipe for Banana Bread Mug Cake is super quick and easy to make.   • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1/3 cup quick oats
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)


  • In a bowl, stir together the mashed banana, egg and milk until combined.
  • Stir in the oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into 1 (12 oz) mug.
  • .Microwave 1- 1.5 minutes (I always do 1 minute first, and check it. It is always better under "bake").
  • Eat immediately while it is warm and gooey.
  • Top with a dollop of peanut butter for extra deliciousness!


**TIP- put a small plate under your mug when you microwave in case it bubbles over! If your mug is too small it will!
