This Maple Ginger Glazed Salmon is easy to make and can be on the table in under 30 minutes. The glaze has so much flavor and you only need 5 ingredients to make it! Serve this meal with steamed rice or over a fresh salad.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp. minced fresh ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp white miso
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1 lb salmon, cut into 4, 4 oz portions
Instructions
Air-Fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
- Make your glaze by combining all the ingredients (except for the salmon) in a small pan. Simmer until it thickens slightly so that it will stick onto the salmon. Set aside.
- Place a piece of foil on the counter and place the air fryer basket on top (this will catch any glaze that drips). Brush some oil on the basket so the salmon doesn’t stick. Place the salmon portions on the basket and generously brush with the glaze, being sure to brush it on the top as well as the sides. Set aside the remaining glaze to drizzle over the salmon once it is cooked.
- Season the salmon portions with ¼ tsp sea salt.
- Place the salmon in the air fryer and bake for 13-15 minutes depending on how you like your salmon cooked.
- Drizzle the cooked salmon with additional glaze.
Oven
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and rub a little oil on the parchment paper.
